A 4-Night Support, Learning & Restoration Experience based on 2 Sharing

Day-by-Day Overview
Day 1 – Arrival, Rest & Shared Understanding

Parents arrive at Foyers Lodge and settle into their rooms. The afternoon focuses on decompression, introductions, and shared understanding in a supportive, non-judgemental space. A gentle walk to the Falls of Foyers allows parents to slow down and reset. The evening includes dinner and an overview of the retreat, setting expectations and intentions.

Day 2 – Understanding Your Child & Yoga

Workshops focus on understanding autism and ADHD in children, sensory needs, emotional regulation, and behaviour as communication. Parents explore the impact of caregiving and chronic stress, alongside practical support strategies. The day includes a gentle yoga session to support regulation and self-care, with time for rest and reflection.

Day 3 – Practical Tools, Connection & Loch Ness

Parents engage in sessions covering routines, boundaries, meltdowns, school challenges, and supporting their child’s wellbeing at home. The afternoon includes a boat trip on Loch Ness, offering space to reflect and connect with others who understand. Group discussions allow shared learning and reassurance.

Day 4 – Confidence, Planning & Looking Ahead

The final full day focuses on building confidence and resilience. Parents develop personalised plans for home, school, and support systems, alongside strategies for maintaining their own wellbeing. The retreat closes with reflection, optional mindfulness or yoga, and a relaxed final dinner.

Departure (Morning)

A calm breakfast and gentle departure, with parents leaving feeling supported, reassured, and better equipped for everyday life.
